The Whiskey Sessions started when three old (by this point) musicians met to get reacquianted and drink som whiskey. The whole think quickly turned into a recurring even about booze, music, and on-the-spot creativity. We get together, pop the cork, and get cracking on writing a song. The goal is to compose, write lyrics, perform and record an entire song in a single evening, preferably before the neighbors start banging on the wall or the audio interface burns up.

We often mix and master when we've had a chance to sober up, but we are proud to challenge ourselves to achieve all of this in a short period of time. And it's a lot of fun too......

OMG what happened? Really bad blackouts says Mad, but here's what she remembers.

We visited Samir in Surte, a chill drummer dude. Also there were Camilla (Milton), her dog Lukas and another dog Napoleon; Napoleon's roommate was apparently on the rag. Napoleon turned out to be a percussionist as well and performed some really awesome snoring that can be heard on the track. We grooved to that with a lot of cool instruments that Samir played.

Samir served pizze in total mamma-mia style and Mad looked a little too deep into the wine bottle. Robban was there taking pictures as well as whistling in a way that would have made Gandalf proud. Milton was her wonderful self, laughing, supporting, read an interesting study about male masturbation, took a bunch of pictures and generally had an awesome time. johno acted as engineer and guitarist (and forced us to be quieter then we ever have been before during a Whiskey Session).

In the end we selected two songs from the evening. One is a random discussion about lubricants that was just amazingly epic, and another is instrumental featuring dog snores and Robdalf whistling.
